This Privacy Policy explains how Intelmor Private Limited (“Intelmor”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Salon AiQ platform, including the web console and the Salon AiQ staff mobile applications for iOS and Android (together, the “Service”).

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Intelmor Private Limited, a company registered in India, with offices in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, London and Irving, Texas. For any privacy question you can reach us via intelmor.com/contact.

2. Who uses the Service

Salon AiQ is business software used by beauty and wellness businesses (“Operators”) and their staff. Operators use Salon AiQ to run their own operations and to manage records about their own customers (“Guests”). In most cases, where an Operator loads their Guest and business data into Salon AiQ, the Operator is the controller of that data and Intelmor Private Limited acts as a processor on their behalf.

3. Information we collect

Account and staff information

Names, email addresses, phone numbers, roles, branch assignments, and login credentials for Operator and staff accounts. For staff who use the mobile app, this may include attendance check-in data such as a selfie image and GPS location captured at clock-in, where the Operator has enabled it.

Business and operational data

Information Operators enter to run their business — services, products, inventory, bookings, invoices, payments status, payroll, expenses, accounting entries, campaigns and related records.

Guest records

Contact details, visit history, preferences, notes, loyalty and membership status that an Operator maintains about their own Guests.

Technical data

Device information, app version, log data and diagnostic information used to operate and secure the Service.

4. Payment information

Salon AiQ does not store full card numbers and does not hold or move your funds. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (for example, Razorpay or UPI) configured by the Operator. Funds settle directly from the payment provider to the Operator’s own bank account. Salon AiQ records the status of a transaction for accounting and invoicing purposes; it is air-gapped from bank money movement.

5. How we use information

  • To provide, maintain and secure the Service
  • To enable bookings, billing, staff management, inventory, finance and marketing features an Operator turns on
  • To send operational messages (such as appointment reminders or campaigns) that the Operator initiates to their own Guests
  • To provide support and respond to requests
  • To improve reliability, diagnose issues, and prevent misuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

6. Data isolation between businesses

Each Operator’s data is kept logically isolated. Salon AiQ does not combine one Operator’s data with another’s, and does not use one business’s Guest data to serve another business. This isolation is a core, permanent design principle of the platform.

7. Sharing of information

We share information only as needed to run the Service: with infrastructure and hosting providers, payment gateways, and messaging providers (such as SMS or WhatsApp providers) that the Operator configures; when required by law; or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public. We do not sell personal information.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as an Operator’s account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Operators can request export or deletion of their data as described below.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data. Because Operators control their own Guest and business data, Guests should direct such requests to the Operator (the business) they visited. Operators and staff can contact us via intelmor.com/contact to exercise rights over their own account data.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and role-based permissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and continually improve our safeguards.

11. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and their staff and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. International transfers

Intelmor Private Limited operates from India with additional offices internationally. Where information is transferred across borders, we take steps intended to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
